According to Dr. Yeşiltaş who said that Turkey has not undertaken a strategic change in its foreign policy, “There have been some changes rather than a strategic transformation because during the Ak Party period, the strategy has always been the same; to win influence in the Middle East. Winning influence is not to dominate, but to develop equal relations to establish stability in the Middle East.”
